The auction proceeds are put back into the community through various forms of charity. 3. Why Is Indian Hair Widely Regarded As The Best Type Of Human Hair? Experts site the durability, texture, and flexibility of Indian hair as the main reasons for it being regarded as the best type of hair. Indian hair is naturally thick, full and lustrous, which provides the best possible styling and installation options for extensions. Indian hair is naturally dark, and is perfect for most braiding and weaving applications for women of color. Real Remy Indian hair is the definition of long lasting, quality hair, and RHS hair is 100% guaranteed real Indian remy. 4. What Is Virgin Hair? Generally the maximum variance is 2″ between hair lengths. 7. What Is Double Drawn Hair? Double Drawn Hair is typically considered better hair, wherein all hairs are exactly the same length. 8. What Do The Terms “Bulk” And “Wefted” Mean? Bulk hair is loose hair that is typically used for braiding and certain other extension styles. It is typically tied in a bundle when delivered and ready for use. Wefted hair is used for weaving. It is sewn or bonded into a track and ready for the weaving process. 9. What Is The Difference Between Machine Weft And Hand Tied Weft? Machine wefts are made by sewing strands of hair together with a hair sewing machine. Tying strands of hair around a strong weaving thread by hand, is how Hand Tied Wefts are made. RHS hand tied wefts are extremely thin, so they lay flush with the scalp to ensure the most natural look, eliminate unwanted hair bumps, and prevent shedding. 10. What Is The Best Way To Cut A Weft? Extreme care must be taken when cutting hand tied wefts. Do not cut them from the top. This is an error made by many professionals and should be avoided at all costs. If the hand tied weft is cut, then you should seal it with good glue, such as, nail or fabric glue. However, there is still a chance of shedding if it is cut. Do not sew through the top of the weft. We recommend sewing around the weft. With machine wefts, you may cut where desired, but great care should be taken when doing so. 11. How Much Hair Should I Purchase? If you are getting a full Braid Weave the typical person will need about 8 ounces of hair (some more, some less). It is best to buy two packs to make sure you have enough and if you are using hair over 18″ long you might need an additional pack. If you are getting tracks or having your hair bonded, one pack is enough for four to five tracks up to 18″ hair length. 12. How Many Inches Wide Is A Weft? The width of the wefts depends on the length of the hair. The longer the hair the shorter the width of the weft. If you decide to go with longer hair and want to cover more of your head we would suggest 2 or possibly 3 packs of hair 13. Can I Color This Hair? Yes, RHS hair is 100% virgin human hair. So, you can color the hair as you choose, however, we generally advise that you make any major color changes after having your extensions applied. 14. What Type Of Hair Care Products Should I Use? Treat this hair like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products to ensure it is soft and manageable. You can also use products like gel and hair spray to keep the curls in place, but make sure to wash your hair and not leave in these products for long periods of time. 15. Can I Go Swimming? Yes, you may go in swimming pools and hot tubs, but be sure to wash your hair right after swimming. Avoid getting hair in salt water as the salt can take all the moisture out and cause tangling. We recommend that you add a spray in conditioner after swimming. 16. What Is The Difference Between Indian And Chinese Hair? Indian hair varies in texture and color. Chinese hair is very straight, whereas, Indian hair has a natural, slightly wavy look to it and is full of bounce. 17. How Long Does It Last? If cared for properly, RHS hair can last a very long time. While it is hard to give an exact timeframe, if you take care of it, and follow our recommendations, your hair can last for many months, or longer.
